Outdoor Activities

Yellowstone National Park

We recommend 3 days to see the whole park, but if you're only planning to spend a day, let us know and share the highlights.

May is when the baby bison and elk are born so it's a great time for photos!

Note: Cell service is limited in the park.

Red Rocks Lake & Wildlife Refuge

This is the largest wetland complex in the area and home to elk, deer, pronghorn, moose, trumpeter swan, and grizzly and black bears.

With over 53,000 acres, this is a remote wilderness. Hiking and photography is encouraged, but it is a primitive area.

Hebgen Lake

This 12,000+ acre lake is stunning and fish species include: brown trout, mountain whitefish, rainbow trout, Utah chub, and Westslope cutthroat trout. Fly fishing for trophy trout on Hebgen is legendary.

With convenient amenities such as boat ramps, camping grounds, and hiking trails, Hebgen Lake is perfect for a few hours or few days of fishing.

Choose from a group ride, private ride, or a ride in a wagon.

In addition to the abundant wildlife in the area, the Diamond P Ranch is located in the middle of two important historic trails with historic structures still standing: The Nez Perce National Historic Trail and the Historic Monida and Yellowstone Stage Line.

Note: All rides depart the ranch at 9:30, 1:30, and 4:30
